This collection was originally a set I wanted to develop for my Associateship submission to the RPS in 2007 (in monochrome), although I completely changed my mind and pursued the "Patterns and Shapes in the Built Environment" theme instead. Once again it's ongoing project, and quite old now having started in around 2005! Most of the images are what people now categorise as "street", but without seeing the faces of the subjects. Their backs are to the front, so "Back to Front" might be the best way to categorise these photos. The viewer of this type of photo is looking with the subject(s), who, based on their clothing or actions, is hopefully doing something characterful or interesting. This set is also an expression of my reticence or bashfulness when it comes to photographing strangers!
