This is an example of where "Gear Acquisition Syndrome" (GAS) turned out to be quite cheap...for a change! I bought an Olympus XA2 in June 2023, an old 35mm film camera from the 1980s, one that I'd often thought of buying...for around 30 years or so! The cameras are tiny and good for point and shoot situations, with a very sharp lens. These photos are from the first roll and thankfully there were no problems with the camera's light seals. There was however a problem where I pressed the shutter unintentionally, but I've left it in the set. I've also kept the selfie as continuing evidence that I'm usually pretty bad at taking selfies! The six that are missing from the set (ie 36 frames, but only 29 shown, 30 including the square crop) were duplicates and a blank one from winding the film too far at the start of the roll. I'll get used to it!
